Lewis-Clark State College has proudly served the Coeur d'Alene area since 1982. To learn more about studying at LC State's CDA Center visit: www.lcsc.edu/cda.
Come to LCSC if price matters to you-- if location and the region matters to you. You're looking to plant your feet somewhere that you love.
I think it allows for a lot of the students to be here in the community and stay at home. Many of them are nontraditional-- most of them are. So it provides them that opportunity to be with their family and maintain their life, and their lifestyle.
I don't want to leave this area. And so LCSC being available to us in the Coeur D'Alene campus is definitely what makes it stand out for me.
We get on a boat and go jump in the lake in between classes. I love that.
I didn't feel like I was separate from a different LCSC community in a different part of Idaho. I felt like I was at my campus. And so that was something that I really enjoyed being part of.
It's close-- it's here-- it's affordable.
LCSC was the most affordable out of the satellite campuses up here in Coeur D'Alene. And I was able to get in and out in just about a year and a half with no debt.
I did have a job here at the time during school. I wanted to keep that job, as I was building some pretty good experience there.
The flexibility of the schedules for the school really helped me work through that and the responsibilities that I had in my outside life, as well.
The classes-- half of them, or so, we're online. The other half were at times of the day and the week that I could work around the work schedule and hold a full-time job while I did that. That was really important to me.
They didn't just offer specific classes only during the day on Tuesdays. That class that you might need was also offered at night on a Wednesday and a Friday.
It's a great place to go to school with it being in Coeur D'Alene, right on the water.
From the point of even making the decision, walking in the door and making the decision that this was the school I needed to go to, to the point that I graduated. I developed friendships. I developed just a lot of confidence in myself, and the things I could do. And I think a lot of that came from the advising crew that worked with me. For me, LCSC was just the perfect program.
