Five residence halls – Clark Hall, Clearwater Hall, College Place, Parrish House, Talkington Hall. All are co-ed and managed by the Residence Life office.
Clearwater Hall and College Place feature suite-style halls with four-person suites that share a convenience kitchen, bathroom, and living room. The halls are co-ed by suite, where the neighbors in the next suite could be male or female, however, the people who live in your suite are the same gender.
Parrish House is a small residence hall for upper-class students and is the only hall where students are not required to have a meal plan. Students choose the rooms they want to live in, and the whole building is co-ed.
A sixth residence hall, the Living and Learning Complex, has an estimated construction date of 2019. It is expected to add 150 beds and include a student advising center, student health center, a second fitness center, and additional dining options.
All residents have access to a host of on-campus facilities including the newly renovated fitness center, indoor tennis courts, and the auxiliary gym where many intramural events are held.
Hey guys, my name is Brycen Prokaskey, and we're out at College Place, one of five dorms on the Lewis Clark State College campus. Let's go check it out.
Welcome to the College Place lobby, one of the number one reasons I love living in this building. First off, you know you do get sweet style living, which gives you a good taste of what living on your own might be like. But you also get the awesome community that's super important to any dorm. Plus the foosball tournaments are pretty fun. But you can't forget about ping-pong.
But the number one thing about College Place is it's sweet-style living, let's go take a look. So this is the main living area, where I live. And as you can see, you've got tons of space. And nothing beats a little bit x-box with the roommate.
And here we are, the last stop of the tour, the room of yours truly. They give you a bed, a desk like that, and your bureau, and of course, plenty of space to decorate your room to make it feel like you never left home.
Thanks for stopping by the humble abode. Now I'm going to pass it over to Bethany over at Talkington to give you the scoop on another great res hall here on campus.
Hi, my name's Bethany. I'm a nursing major here LCSC. Behind me is another great housing option, it's where I live, so let me show you around.
Welcome to Talkington lobby, this is the heart of the building. People walk through here all day. We've got a grand piano, giant Jenga. If you hang out here, you're basically going to know everyone in the building.
Next stop, let's check out my room. So this is one of Talkington's typical rooms. We've got singles, doubles, triples, and each roommate gets their own closet, dresser, bed, desk, and desk chair.
Finally, this is our game room. It's practically soundproof, so you can hang out here late at night and you won't disturb anyone.
So, there you have it, those are two of our living options here on campus, but there's so much more. You've really got to check it out in person. So see you soon.
